As a Therapist, I want to be: "Handling the hard stuff with you," so you can grow, change, and heal into the life you want.
My Belief: "You can heal."
Amazingly, you don’t need to “understand” all the whys behind “what is” to heal and change. You just need to be tired enough of, “what is,” that you’re willing to entertain the possibility of expanding your old perspective (if it's hurting you) so you can work with your past and present figuring out new ways of being healthier now and in the future.
"It's like taking a flying leap by letting go of the old tried and true emotional pain you're used to and going through the discomfort and stress of doing something different until you realize, 'this is so much better.' I'm not living in that old pain anymore; it's not holding me back.'
I'm not my trauma anymore, trauma happened to me and I'm ME now!"

* I‘ve been doing therapy with people since 1981, developing a variety of specialties so I can be more responsive to people seeking help. Some issues go hand in hand like trauma and addiction, trauma and mood disorders, addiction and marital problems or divorce, and prejudice, injustice, and trauma. When you add in anger, shame, and resentment to what a person is facing, the situation becomes more complex and deserves a skilled therapist.
